The zoo is located in the southern part of the city, stretching over an area of 24,306 hectares. it aims to preserve, protect and study rare species of animals and birds, included in the Red Book Of Moldova.
It represents a picturesque landscape in which live over 150 species of birds and animals, among them are Przewalski’s horse, siberian tiger, Turkmenistan Kullan, etc.it has a pond (area 1.2 hectares) populated by geese, white and black swans, pond Ducks, Stork and cockerels.
On the territory of the garden are organized mobile exhibitions and cognitive-instructive excursions for schoolchildren.
